Unexpected visitors

1 Thessalonians 5:17 NKJV
[17] pray without ceasing,

A few years ago, I was finishing my preparations on a teaching I had to give to a group of leaders in two days, I had unexpected visitors who took two hours of my time. At first, I could not enjoy their visit, because they caught me at an unexpected hour. When I realized they were not leaving soon, I decided to put in extra hours the next day to finish my task, and I did. I realized, how often do we think we don’t have time for prayer, but we can always fit in an unexpected visitor or emergency? Are we too busy for God? Is it really a matter of time or rather a matter of interest?

Declarations.
I make time to pray.
I am not too busy for God.

Prophetic Instructions.
Have you ever had a strong desire to pray more, but you just could not find more time?
Have you ever had unexpected visitors or emergencies that altered your busy schedule completely?
Just as you made time for unexpected visitors, social activities and emergencies make time for prayer.
Eliminate the interference of unexpected visitors, and social activities in your daily schedule. Stay focused, but never neglect your prayer life.
I have learned to politely tell people when I am available and when I am not, so I can make time for God and focus on my tasks at hand.
Making time for God will improve your life in ways you never imagined.
